The Index Report allows you to see the overall care provided to a patient. Use this report when you want to quickly compare hospitals at a summary level.
Reports on this list will display all of the data hospitals are reporting for the selected topic. Reports may include summary, evidence-based process and outcome measures, mortality, volume and utilization information. For instance, the Heart Attack Report shows all of the measures related to care for heart attack patients. These reports are useful if you’re looking for information on a specific medical condition or topic.
This report allows you to select a hospital and view the entire set of measures we have for that facility. The report includes location and other demographic information, medical services measures, surgical infection prevention measures, medication error prevention measures and mortality indicators. This report is useful when you want to see all the information we have for any given hospital.
These reports indicate hospitals' mortality experience for certain illnesses and procedures, compared to a reference population. These reports are useful when you want to find out if a hospital's experience is better, as expected, or worse with regard to mortality for a given illness or procedure.
Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers & Systems (HCAHPS) surveyed patients about their hospital experience. Find out what patients had to say about the care they received during a recent stay.
